Panels versus framing

Blown out mesh is straightforward. Bent or twisted aluminium is a different job, because the structure has to come back to square before new screening will tension properly. Anyone quoting a rescreen without looking at the framing has not looked properly.

If you are claiming

Photograph the damage before anything is removed, keep the date, and get the estimate in writing with framing and screening itemised separately. Insurers ask for that split more often than not. We do not handle claims, and neither we nor the crew can promise what a policy will pay.
